Abstract
Zanglamaydigan po‘latning birinchi marta 1798-yilda Fransiya akademiyasi olimi Lui Voklen tomonidan xrom ko‘rsatilishi bilan boshlangan. 1800-yillarning boshlarida ingliz olimlari Jeyms Stoddart, Maykl Faraday va Robert Mallet xrom-temir qotishmalarining ("xromli po‘latlar") oksidlovchi moddalarga chidamliligini kuzatdilar va Robert Bunsen xromning kuchli kislotalarga chidamliligini aniqladi. Temir-xrom qotishmalarining korroziyaga chidamliligi birinchi bo‘lib 1821-yilda Per Berti tomonidan tan olingan, u ularning ba’zi kislotalar ta’siriga chidamliligini ta’kidlab, ularni pichoqlarda ishlatishni taklif qilgan.
