Abstract

This article investigates the economic efficiency of district heating systems specifically tailored for low-energy buildings envisioned for the future. It explores how district heating, a centralized method of distributing heat generated from a single source to multiple buildings, can offer cost-effective heating solutions for these energy-efficient structures. The study likely delves into various aspects, including initial setup costs, operational expenses, maintenance requirements, and long-term savings associated with district heating compared to alternative heating systems. Furthermore, it may discuss the potential economic benefits such as reduced energy consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and increased resilience to energy price fluctuations.
